EXPERIENCE
Over 20 years in the production and custom home building industry that included the following:
Supervision on site for the construction of many varied styles and applications of custom homes. This included City inspections, MUD or third party inspections.
- Handled the permit application and plan review with city and governmental agency.
- Site analysis based on plot plan, soil analysis, flood plain- septic design (if necessary.)
- Meeting with the owner on site to help in the layout of the project for the best finished product.
- Contract negotiations with the subcontractor to finalize the product specifications and the contract budget.
- Handled the purchasing of materials and products for several projects concurrently. This included homes up to the 2 million dollar range.
- Budgets developed to meet the builder’s expectations for finish quality and thoroughness. They included hard and soft cost that was broken out separately.
- Schedules are developed as a real time tool with actual dates from start to finish. This would take weekends, holidays and rain days into consideration.
- Material specification in the AIA format to thoroughly meet homeowners desires and cost expectations.
- Meet with homeowners to review the preliminary plans for modifications that could be redesigned for the final approved set.
- Assist in the selection of products at the supplier’s showroom when necessary.
- Developed a customer service department to handle problems to the owner’s expectations.
- Field supervision background that includes thorough construction knowledge to complete a quality custom home.
2001-2008
American Custom Homes/ Town &Country Design & Construction, Inc.

Verified all projects are on time. Initiated all new plans and specifications. Met the criteria to develop custom homes & remodels.
- Setup material specifications, budgets, sub contractors, purchasing, contracts, colorization, and final punch. ($450,000.+)

1999-2001
D.R HORTON CUSTOM HOMES
Dallas, Texas
Construction Manager
Established a new subdivision including model set-up, construction offices, sales offices, etc. Homes in this area sold for $350,000. and up. Met with homeowners for the pre construction meeting, on site conditions and any other issues which may have arisen, including all upgrade information and change orders.
- Met with subcontractors for changes to plans.
- Weekly status report of all homes under construction.
1997-1999
BEAZER HOMES
Dallas, Texas
Project Manager-Land Development (Field)
Assisted in the establishment of a cohesive unit to develop raw land into a finished product. Included, site acquisition, planning, installation of utilities, roads, finished pads, and other amenities which would establish the culmination of the development to a builder ready development.
- Established associations with engineers and sub trades in pre-construction through development. Verified development plans for accuracy, values and completeness.
- Developed construction schedule to meet expectations of Beazer. (Including weekly schedule for management review)

MECA INVESTMENT GROUP, INC.

Construction Manager /Purchasing
Responsible for all construction related areas, from assisting in the development of homes, products, land, budgets, supervision and the final product.
- Met with supervisors to verify all phases of construction at all subdivisions.
- Final verification and release of starts.
- Acquisition of land and working with the architect for the design of new products.
- Progress reports for initiating draws and construction starts weekly.

Responsible for all aspects of developments of custom homes and land developments. This also entailed the homeowner and architect meeting, product specification, interior design, landscape and any other aspect which would be included to finish a high quality custom home. ($400,000.+)
- Worked directly with architect and homeowner to design homes of quality and uniqueness.
- Hired sub trades who had original capabilities that could push the product and design envelope and purchasing of all products.
- Acquired construction loans for spec home development.
